We are proud to announce that Tim Benedetto has been named a partner at the firm. Tim, an attorney with a distinguished record in workers’ compensation law, has been an integral part of the firm since beginning his career as a law clerk with us at Workers’ Compensation, LLC.
Tim has exclusively focused on workers’ compensation law throughout his career, establishing himself as a leader in the field in Louisiana. His notable contributions are underscored by several reported decisions, including prominent cases such as Brown v. Walmart, Inc., Johnson v. Lofton Staffing Services, Inc., Musson Patout Automotive Group v. Maynard, and Navarre v. Peristyle Residences, LLC. These decisions have secured critical victories for injured workers.
His dedication to protecting the rights of injured workers is reflected not only in his courtroom success but also in his involvement with key professional organizations. He serves as the Co-chairman of the Legislative Task Force at the Louisiana Workers’ Advocates and membership in the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG).
His commitment and contributions have not gone unnoticed. Tim Benedetto has received prestigious awards, including being one of two recipients of the 2022 national Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) scholarship sponsored by MASSIVE: Medical and Subrogation Specialist, and the 2023 Louisiana Workers’ Advocates Exemplary Leadership Award. Tim has been recognized as one of Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG)’s 2023 Nation’s Top Injured Workers’ Attorneys.
“I come from a working-class family, so I understand how life-changing a work injury can be,” Tim says. “When someone is injured on the job, they’re not just dealing with the injury—they’re also up against insurance companies and legal hurdles that can be incredibly overwhelming. I’ve committed my career to standing up for these workers and ensuring they receive the help they deserve.”
Tim is proud to have made such a difference working with Workers’ Compensation, LLC, which he considers both a family and a cornerstone of his development. “This firm took me in as a law clerk and has played an essential role in shaping the attorney and person I am today. It’s an honor to become a partner at a place with such deep meaning for me, and I look forward to spending my career here.”
Corey Fitzpatrick, Partner at Workers’ Compensation, LLC, shares his enthusiasm for Tim’s new role: “Tim’s advocacy for injured workers is unmatched, and we are excited to welcome him as a partner. We are excited to see the ongoing positive impact he will make on our state’s workers’ rights.”
As a partner, Tim will represent injured workers with the same passion and tenacity that have characterized his career, while also helping guide the future direction of Workers’ Compensation, LLC.
