Timothy E. Benedetto, Esq., is a distinguished Workers’ Compensation attorney practicing at Workers’ Compensation, LLC. With a dedication to the advocacy of injured workers, Tim has garnered a wealth of experience navigating the complexities of both the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Act (LWCA) and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA).
If you need help with your workers’ compensation claim, Tim Benedetto is your advocate, combining his experience with a passion for ensuring that your rights are defended.
Tim is a proud alumnus of the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law in May 2016. Tim is a New Orleans native with strong family ties to Acadiana. He went to Brother Martin High School.
Before he worked at the law firm, Tim worked for the Louisiana State Senate as a sergeant at arms, where he got to see how the state workers’ comp system works. He saw how hard it can be for workers to make their workers’ comp claims.
Tim advocates for all Louisiana workers, serving as the Co-chairman of the Legislative Task Force at the Louisiana Workers’ Advocates and membership in the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG).
Tim’s notable contributions are underscored by several reported decisions, including prominent cases such as Brown v. Walmart, Inc., Johnson v. Lofton Staffing Services, Inc., Musson Patout Automotive Group v. Maynard, and Navarre v. Peristyle Residences, LLC.
In addition to his legal practice, Tim shares his expertise through presentations at industry events, addressing critical topics such as Independent Medical Examinations, Medical Treatment Guidelines, and the intersection of workers’ compensation with evolving issues like the impact of COVID-19.
His commitment and contributions have not gone unnoticed. He has received prestigious awards, including being one of two recipients of the 2022 national Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) scholarship sponsored by MASSIVE: Medical and Subrogation Specialist, and the 2023 Louisiana Workers’ Advocates Exemplary Leadership Award. Further solidifying his standing in the legal community, Tim Benedetto has been recognized as one of Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG)’s 2023 Nation’s Top Injured Workers’ Attorneys.
To maximize your workers’ comp claim, you’ll want a lawyer who knows this special area of law. Tim knows it.
